Gym Design

Designing a gym that is both aesthetically pleasing and equipped with high-quality equipment.

To ensure everyone's satisfaction at the gym, it's necessary to have different sections catering to different preferences. While some individuals prefer free weights or exercise machines, others may solely focus on cardio or group classes. Each section should have equipment tailored to the specific needs of its clients.

Exercise Machines:

In order to cater to a dedicated group of gym-goers who use exercise machines, it's important to choose machines that are easy to understand and use, and are set up in a way that promotes consistency and routine. To accomplish this, machines should be organized in a way that creates a total body workout for each muscle group, with two lines of machines being ideal.

Cardio Machines:

Having a sufficient number of cardio machines is crucial to ensure that members are not waiting in line to use them. Time limits for each machine may need to be implemented to reduce wait times, and it's important to choose the right types of machines, such as ellipticals, treadmills, and stationary bikes.

Free Weights Area:

Just like the cardio area, certain exercises in the free weights area are more popular than others and should be doubled up. It's important to have a good set of dumbbells and strong benches in every gym. Additionally, adding a Green Turf area and a frame with TRX straps and sleds can be a popular and innovative idea.

Stretching Mats:

A comfortable and spacious stretching area is a popular spot in any gym and should be made available to members to help them relax and stretch after a hard workout.
